One of the concerns with building anywhere in the bay area is the earthquake factor. All new construction including this project seems to be engineered to last until the end of the world. This foundation had about 120 sticks of rebar 20 feet long in it all precisely bent and tied together.

The completed project included an outdoor kitchen with a bar and exhaust ventilation system that pulls smoke from the bbq through the roof. We also built an outdoor gas fireplace. We ran wiring to mount tvs in 2 locations, above the fireplace and behind the bar.
